State Delegate for Rockville and Gaithersburg (District 17)

I am honored to serve as one of your elected officials in the Maryland General Assembly. I truly believe that the state legislature should look out for the interests of Marylanders. That’s why I’ve fought to close corporate tax loopholes, to provide a world-class education to every student, and to protect social safety nets for Marylanders.

As the only biologist with an advanced degree in the state legislature, I bring an analytical, fact-based approach to policymaking. And I’ve drawn upon my experiences as a former two-term city councilmember and congressional staffer to pass 23 new laws in Maryland.

I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to represent Gaithersburg and Rockville in the House of Delegates since 2019 and look forward to continuing to engage with you.
